Detailed Answer
This is Montana. If we shut down every time the weather got a little rough, we'd never get anything done. Robert works through rain, light snow, and cold temperatures regularly. It's part of the job, and the service vehicle is equipped for it.
When Weather Is Not a Problem
Most repairs can be done in less than ideal conditions. Oil changes, battery replacements, brake jobs, diagnostic scans, and starter or alternator swaps don't require perfect weather. Robert has worked through plenty of Flathead Valley winters and knows how to keep the job moving safely when temperatures drop.
If your vehicle is in a garage or covered parking area, weather is a nonissue entirely. That's one of the perks of mobile service. We come to wherever the vehicle is, and if it's already sheltered, even better.
When We Might Need to Reschedule
There are some situations where weather can affect the quality or safety of a repair. Heavy downpour during an electrical repair, for example, isn't ideal because moisture can interfere with connections and diagnostics. Extreme cold below negative 20 can make certain jobs harder on both the mechanic and the vehicle. And if road conditions are dangerous enough that getting to your location puts anyone at risk, we'll hold off.
In those cases, we reschedule at no extra cost. Robert will reach out ahead of time if the forecast looks like it could be a problem, so you're never left guessing. We'd rather push an appointment by a day and do the job right than rush through it in bad conditions.
Bottom line: a little Montana weather won't slow us down. We plan around it, prepare for it, and only reschedule when it's truly necessary.
